Dance primed for Canadian task

DANCE And Dance is set to tackle the Grade 1 Woodbine Mile in Canada on Sunday.

This has been the target for the son of Royal Applause for some time and Ed has been pleased with his condition since he travelled.

He has been in good form this season, winning a conditions race at Doncaster and also finishing runner-up in the Diomed Stakes at Epsom in June.

Dance And Dance was an unlucky sixth in the race last season and fingers crossed for better luck this year.

Ed said: "I'm delighted with Dance And Dance. He looks great but it is a tough race."

Bruce Raymond, racing manager to owner Mohammed Rashid, added: "Dance And Dance was unlucky in the race last year. He travels exceptionally well and is suited to US racing. We are hopeful."

Dance And Dance faces eight rivals and will break from stall two. Dubai Duty Free winner Cityscape and also Worthadd, who took the Diomed Stakes, have also made the journey.
